About the position

Storebound is looking for an inventory specialist to help us make sure our inventory on our system is always up to date. This person will work closely with the operations and finance teams to manage procedures and processes to maintain inventory control.


Primary responsibilities:

  • Daily maintenance of inbound shipments
  • Liaise with 3PL to investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Plan, implement and manage inventory protocols on our system
  • Including inventory adjustments and transfers
  • Regularly audit inventory levels across all locations
  • Maintain inventory feeds on dropship accounts
  • Enter and maintain factory POs
  • Ensure landed cost templates are correctly applied
  • Periodically check landed costs are being correctly calculated

Here are some details about what is required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of similar experience with a consumer goods company
  • Strong Math, Communication, Critical Thinking and Time Management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret data and problem solve with high attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Good familiarity with Excel
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus, but not required
