Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter or vegetable oil
Directions
- In a medium bowl, sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Using the Stand Mixer, whisk together the egg, milk, and butter (or vegetable oil). Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until just incorporated.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour ¼ cup of batter onto the griddle, and cook for about 5 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter. Makes 8 pancakes.
