Iced Tea & Coffee Maker

From the very first brew, this product slid right into my daily routine like it always belong there. The brewing is fast, smooth, and surprisingly quiet – just a very soft little hum while it works, which I appreciate. The quality genuinely impressed me; it feels sturdy, well-made, and nothing about it comes off cheap or flimsy. Even the picture feels durable enough for every day use. Assembly was effortless, too. I didn’t have to look anything up or troubleshoot – everything clicked into place intuitively. I’ve already made iced tea’s, iced coffees, and a few fun experiments and every single batch has come out crisp flavorful, and never water down. My teenage son loves it too. Did I love the iced tea? Yes, it tasted amazing. No tea bag just loose tea and it is iced immediately as it brews. I love it. I love the ease of use. The problem? I always missed making big batches of iced tea with my mom during the summertime - this has really made that so easy! I love that the cleanup is so simple - almost every part of this is dishwasher safe. The setup was quick and easy, and all the parts are easy to take apart for maintenance. I just put 6 teabags of my favorite ginger tea in the little filter compartment, add sugar and water, press a button, and go! It is so simple to use and makes really great iced tea (I strain the ice out of mine because I have sensitive teeth, but I included a picture to show that the tea is a great color!). I love that I can fold this into my morning routine and it takes less than 10 minutes. Personally for me, I didn't really see the point of this an iced latte type of situation because the end result was honestly really watery and all of my ice melted. Maybe it could be good for black coffee and iced tea because that doesn't use milk anyway. But in order to keep the ice from melting and to keep the end result really cold, you would need a lot of ice and I'm not sure whether it would really Brew strong enough coffee or tea for the amount of ice that you would be adding into the jug

Another thing that I really didn't like and that made me hesitate even using it for the past 2 months was the entire contraption is completely made of plastic every single part including the part where the hot water passes through and the jug and the filter and everything. I personally don't think that I will be using this iced coffee maker ever again just because I think it's easier to make iced coffee with instant coffee or an espresso machine or even just cold brewing it. I’ve been using this marker for a couple weeks now. What I love most is how quick and simple it is to use. I can make a full pitcher of iced tea or cold brew coffee in minutes-just add tea bags or grounds, fill it with water, and it brews directly over ice. No waiting around for it to cool in the fridge, which is a huge plus, especially in the Houston heat.
