Ceramic Nonstick Mini Waffle Maker

Got this little waffle maker as a Christmas gift and I am blown away how delicious and easy the waffles are to make! I used the Classic Waffles recipe provided by Dash, adding a few drops of vanilla extract to the batter as my own personal touch. The waffles came out soft and so tasty, even without any toppings. As a Canadian who loves real maple syrup, however, I just had to drizzle some on top after an initial taste test of the plain waffles. :) I found that if you want the waffles on the crispier side, just leave them in the wafflemaker for an extra minute or two after the 'click' that tells you they're cooked. I also tried making a breakfast sandwich in this wafflemaker: Whisked 1 egg and poured into maker, closed top, waited a couple minutes, then put egg aside and place 2 small slices of bacon in maker, close top and wait 3-5 mins. Toast english muffin in meantime, then build sandwich: muffin bottom, egg, bacon, muffin top. Butter muffin if desired. Then I grated a small yukon gold potato, squeezed out excess water in paper towel, and placed in maker. Close top and let cook 4-5 mins. Delicious hashbrowns with a breakfast sandwich and no pots or pans to clean! Awesome!!!!! If anyone has any tips on easy cleaning of the plates let me know, as of now I just hold the maker vertically over the sink and use a small brush to gently brush plates only with soap and water, then carefully pour hot water over plates using a clean cup.
