Perfect for one person cup enjoy fresh ice cream. Love this little guy.

Paperweight

I really wanted to like it but the machine is pointless. When I mixed the ingredients and placed in freezer, the ice cream was already made. Don't quite know why I had to use the device. I flat out did all the work. Definitely not an ice cream "maker". It was basically a bowl to hold your ice cream in, that's it.

Better than nothing...

I had the chiller bowl in the freezer for 3 days. I made my mix from fresh, cold ingredients, then chilled it in the fridge for several hours before making it. The best I was able to achieve was only slightly firmer than soft-serve. Not what I expected at all - very disappointed! It’ll do, but I’m not impressed.

Also, there are only three recipes that come with it, and only one is for ice cream. There is nothing on the website and there are no instructions for adapting regular recipes. When I emailed them about more recipes, I was basically told to go looking elsewhere for myself. This is not the sort of response I expected. I am not sure about this company.

DO NOT buy this product!!! I tried to make frozen yogurt, and not only did the mixer motor not seat against the freezer jar, it walked itself off the island and onto the floor!
It’s honestly too small to do what it’s supposed to do, and it’s engineering is calculated to waste your ingredients and make a mess into the bargain!

Do not buy online

My pint ice cream maker arrived cracked. The whole box was wet and the freezing chamber was Cracked and leaking liquid everywhere. The customer service at the dash site is horrible. I like dash products, but will never buy directly online from them again!
