Retro Milkshake Maker

I've had another milkshake maker in the past, and this is notably lower quality. The main issue is that you can't move the cup during mixing, it locks in place, making it difficult to thoroughly mix the contents.

With some effort you can push the cup up into the activation slot while still maintaining control of it, so you can move it around, but certainly more straining than it should be especially if you're also using the II speed, which needs the button to be held down.

Whether you're locking the cup in place as intended or holding it though, it takes much longer than the time listed in the instructions to thoroughly mix the shake. This speaks less to the quality of the machine (I wouldn't expect a max filled cup to be fully mixed in less than 2 minutes with this kind of home device) and more to the quality of the instructions.

If you're looking for a milkshake maker, spring for a better model that gives you more control of the mixing. You're unlikely to find a better mixing mixing wand for a home model, but control of the cup is critical.
