Too many unpopped kernels

I really wanted to love this Popper, but it’s just a like. It seems to spit out so many kernels when it first starts, that to me it’s wasteful. Once it gets going it’s great. I do like being able to melt butter for it in the cup on top.

Taking a star off because despite using a relatively large bowl, some pieces of popcorn still went flying. Because of that I'm wondering if the popcorn maker with the longer spout would have been a better purchase than this one. Other than that, though, I liked how easy and convenient it was to use and I enjoy that the measuring cup can also be used to melt butter. I saw in some other reviews that the butter doesn't melt enough, but I didn't have that issue. I really only use a rather small amount though, so that could be why. All in all I'm not as pleased with this as I am my other Dash appliances, but I still find it useful and fun to use.

Love the size!

I purchased this mostly for the size and shape. Easy to use and popped all kernels!

Popcorn Maker Needs Improvement

This popcorn maker is a little dangerous because the popcorn and the un-popped kernels tend to fly everywhere if not "caught". When using a large bowl, some of the kernels and popcorn bounced right out of the bowl. I ended up purchasing 2-oz popcorn bags on Amazon to catch whatever comes flying out of the spout. Also, the butter melter doesn't work well even with whipped butter. You are better off melting the butter in the microwave. Aside from that, it is a neat product and I love the compact size.
