Turbo Pop Popcorn Maker

I haven't used an air popper in a while, loved my silicone microwave popper rather than the large and somewhat clunky air poppers, but every once in a while I'd burn the popcorn. This smaller air popper looked like the trick. And it is, almost. I like that it is a little more compact than other air poppers, but the downside is that if you fill it with its cup as directed, with the cup filled level, not heaping, it over fills the chamber once the corn starts to pop. My first batch the corn popped faster than it could escape through the chute and backed up against the top, popped kernels got jammed in the bottom and started to burn. Once unplugged I couldn't even shake them out and had to pry them out with a long handled fork. It was a pain to clean out the burned on bits and there are still a few little spots I can't get off, and won't because I don't want to damage the fins or chamber. Using less than a full cup works just fine, though, the second caveat, you have to make sure to use a large enough bowl or popped kernels will fly out everywhere. So, overall, pretty good, but just don't fill the cup that comes with it, use less and a big bowl.
