Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)
1-2 cups pizza sauce (extra for dipping)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
3½ ounces sliced pepperoni, sliced (optional)
Fresh basil, chopped (optional)

Instructions
Open the can of biscuit dough and separate each biscuit out, then cut each biscuit dough piece into 4 even pieces. Flatten each dough piece to the size of the waffle molds in the Maker.
On a large cutting board or platter, place one dough piece down. Top with ½ tablespoon of pizza sauce, ½ tablespoon of cheese and a slice of pepperoni, if desired. Then, place a second dough piece on top and pinch together to seal.
Preheat the Maker. Transfer the poppers to the waffle molds of the Maker. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until toasted brown color and cooked through. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Serve with a side of marinara or pizza sauce for dipping and enjoy this perfect party appetizer that everyone’s sure to love!
