Instructions
Cream Cheese Icing
Add butter and cream cheese to a mixing bowl and mix until well-combined. Stir in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk.
Waffle Batter
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, add eggs, milk, and oil and mix to combine. Add wet ingredients to the dry and mix until just combined.
Preheat the 4-Slice Belgian Waffle Maker and grease both cooking surfaces with a light coating of cooking oil.
Pour 1–1½ cups of batter into the Waffle Maker and cook until crispy, about 4-6 minutes per waffle. Repeat with remaining batter.
Serve warm, drizzling the icing over the waffles, and enjoy this decadent breakfast treat!
Chef's Tips
Pour 1–1½ cups of batter to fill all four waffle plates — do not overfill or batter may overflow.
Making breakfast for a crowd? This square waffle recipe can easily be doubled to feed an even bigger group.
For the best homemade waffle batter consistency, add a splash of milk to thin it out if needed, or a tablespoon of flour at a time to thicken.
