Instructions
Add butter and milk to a small bowl and heat in microwave for 90 seconds or until butter is melted. Whisk in vanilla and set aside.
In a separate large bowl, whisk eggs until fluffy. Add milk mixture and stir to combine.
Add flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar, and mix until just combined. Let sit for 5 minutes, then stir in the chocolate chips.
Preheat the Dual Flip Belgian Waffle Maker and grease both cooking surfaces with a light coating of cooking oil. Pour ⅔-¾ cup of mixture into the Waffle Maker and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per waffle. Repeat with remaining batter.
To serve, top with fresh sliced berries, a breakfast treat you’re sure to love a choco-lot!
Chef's Tips
Do not exceed ¾ cup of batter per waffle — overfilling the Dash Dual Flip Belgian Waffle Maker can cause batter to overflow.
Want a deeper chocolate flavor? Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the batter for a richer, more intense chocolate waffle.
Swap semi-sweet chocolate chips for dark chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, or a mix of both.
