Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry dough, thawed (enough for 9 pizzas)

For the Sauce

  • ¼ cup ricotta

  • 1 egg

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Chives, finely chopped

Toppings

  • Prosciutto

  • Red onions, thinly sliced

  • Cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Chives, finely chopped

  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Roll out the puff pastry dough. Cut into small squares and prick the surface with a fork to prevent excessive puffing.

  2. In a small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients together. Add a spoonful of sauce to each pastry square, then layer with your toppings, dividing them evenly.

  3. Place the pastries in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill the dough — this helps them puff up perfectly when baking.

  4. Preheat the Toaster Oven to 400°F. Set the Function Dial to Bake and the Timer Dial to 15 minutes. Place 2 prepared pastries on the Baking Tray and bake in batches until golden and crisp.

  5. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh chives and enjoy – golden, flaky, and baked to perfection. Breakfast, upgraded!
