Ingredients
¼ cup finely shredded carrots
¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 large egg, beaten
½ cup quick-cooking oats
¾ cup whole wheat flour

Instructions
Preheat the Dog Treat Maker.
In a mixing bowl, combine carrots, apple sauce, and egg. Whisk until combined. Mix in the oats. Add flour and mix until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
Lightly coat the Cooking Surface of the Express Dog Treat Maker with cooking spray. Add dough to the Express Dog Treat Maker and close the Lid.
Pinch off walnut-size pieces of the dough (18 g, .7 ounce) and roll each into a 3½-inch long log. Grease the cooking surface with a small amount of cooking oil. Place a log of dough into each mold of the Dog Treat Maker. Fold in the ends and press to close them.
Close the Lid and bake for 6 minutes. Use tongs to flip each one and bake for and additional 6 minutes or until dark brown and firm when pressed.
Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely. Repeat with remaining dough.
