Golden, fluffy, and made from scratch — this classic Belgian waffle recipe delivers traditional homemade Belgian waffles with a crispy exterior and light interior every time. The Dash Dual Flip Belgian Waffle Maker does the rest.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt 

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups milk 

  • 4 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and melted butter. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until just combined. 

  3. Preheat the Belgian Waffle Maker and grease both cooking surfaces with a light coating of cooking oil. Pour ⅔-¾ cup of batter into the Belgian Waffle Maker. Following the usage instructions, flip the Cover Handle and repeat for the second waffle. Cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per waffle. Repeat with remaining batter. 

  4. Serve with maple syrup, fresh berries, and any other topping of choice for a waffly delicious breakfast.

Chef's Tips

  • Do not exceed ¾ cup of batter per waffle. Overfilling the Dual Flip Belgian Waffle Maker can cause batter to overflow.

  • Make it your own by adding whipped cream, peanut butter and banana, or a drizzle of honey for a fun twist on the classic.
