Curried Herb Pita Chips

Homemade baked pita chips seasoned with paprika and spices on a ceramic plate. A crispy, golden-brown snack perfect for dipping in hummus or serving at parties.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon curry powder

  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1 package (8–10 oz) whole wheat pita bread

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, curry powder, and parsley until well blended.

  2. Split each pita crosswise into two thin rounds. Brush the rough sides with the curry mixture, then cut each round into quarters. Cut each quarter in half again to make smaller chips.

  3. Line Toaster Oven Tray with parchment paper, making sure it doesn’t touch the heating elements. Arrange the pita pieces in a single layer.

  4. Toast for 4 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Repeat in batches as needed. Let cool, then store in a zip-top bag.

  5. Serve with hummus or dip for a snack that’s guaranteed to make your snack game un-pita-ble!
