Grilled Shrimp in Tequila Sauce
Ingredients
½ cup ancho chiles
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ pound large shrimp, shelled and cleaned
1 lime, juiced
1 ounce tequila
2 tablespoons butter

Instructions
In a blender, purée the ancho chiles with a splash of water until smooth. Set aside.
Heat Griddle and add olive oil and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, until pink.
Add the tequila, lime juice, and ancho chile purée to the griddle. Stir to coat the shrimp evenly. Unplug the griddle and stir in the butter until melted and sauce is glossy.
Serve warm and enjoy a shot of flavor in every bite!
