Instructions

  1. Freeze the My Mug for 24-48 hours prior to use.

  2. Place egg yolks and sugar in a glass bowl and beat together. In a saucepan, slowly bring milk to a boil then pour onto the egg mixture and beat together.

  3. Return mixture to the pan and stir constantly until mixture thickens and forms a film over the back of a spoon. Do not let it boil or it will separate.

  4. Remove from heat and transfer to heat-safe container with lid. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. When ready to churn, stir in vanilla extract and chilled cream.

  5. When ready to churn, remove the Mug from freezer and assemble the Ice Cream Maker. Power on the Ice Cream Maker and begin churning before pouring in ingredients. Pour ingredients in through Ingredient Chute, then churn for 20-25 minutes.

  6. When fully churned, the ice cream will have the consistency of soft serve. Enjoy soft serve right out of the Mug or, for a firmer consistency, transfer to an airtight freezer-safe container and chill for 2-4 hours more or until desired consistency.

  7. Once chilled to desired consistency, serve by topping with hot fudge, whipped cream, walnuts, and a cherry.

  8. Grab a spoon and make everyday Sundae!
