Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon, cut into ¼-inch strips and skin removed

  • ½ cup soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

  1. Freeze salmon for 30 minutes until firm, then slice into ¼-inch strips. (Optional: bake the skin separately for an additional crispy snack.)

  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and honey to create the marinade. Place salmon strips and marinade in a large resealable bag and refrigerate for 12 hours.

  3. Remove salmon strips from the bag and pat dry with paper towels to soak up excess marinade. Arrange strips on Dehydrator Trays, leaving space between each slice.

  4. Set the temperature to 165°F and dehydrate for 6 hours, or until the salmon is dry and chewy but not crunchy.

  5. Enjoy fresh or store in an airtight container—but fair warning, you’ll be hooked after one bite!
