Instructions
Preheat Waffle Maker and grease both cooking surfaces with a light coating of cooking oil.
Assemble four sandwiches by layering two slices of cheese, one lettuce leaf, and four turkey slices on one slice of bread. Spread mustard on the other bread slice and put it on top.
Place each sandwich into a waffle mold section. Slowly lower the Cover and press the panini as much as possible. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
Use tongs to remove from the Waffle Maker.
Serve hot and enjoy these savory sammies — no trip to the deli necessary!
Chef's Tips
No panini press needed — your Dash Waffle Maker works perfectly as a waffle iron panini press. Just press down firmly on the cover for a crispy, melted result.
Swap Swiss for provolone, cheddar, or pepper jack for a different flavor twist — any good melting cheese works great.
Use a sturdy bread like sourdough, ciabatta, or thick-sliced sandwich bread — thinner breads may not hold up as well under pressure.
